WOMEN'S ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT IN KHARTOUM AND RED SEA STATES

Silatech partnered with UN Women in Sudan to provide a foundation from which vulnerable women could build their futures. The Economic Empowerment Programme benefits women with disabilities, survivors of gender-based violence, women in refugee and internally displaced person camps, to help them become vibrant economic change agents.

ENTREPRENEURS PROJECT IN KASSALA

Silatech partnered with the Kassala Microfinance Institution to provide technical assistance, capacity building and a guarantee fund to cover losses that may be incurred through the provision of loans to young people in Kassala.

GRADUATE FUND PROGRAMME

Silatech provides financial and technical support to youth graduates in general & youth graduates registered in the Employment National Fund in particular to help them start and develop their own enterprises.

AL-AMAL

“Al-Amal”-(Hope) was launched in collaboration with the Sudanese government and under the supervision of the Supreme Commission for Combating Extremism and Fighting the Ideologies of Terrorist Groups. The programme works to rehabilitate and reintegrate youth returnees in the society who previously fell into the horrid trap of extremism and terrorism, and provide them with the needed support to develop income-generating small projects.

SAMA AL SHABAB

Sama Al Shabab is a Joint partnership between Silatech, QNB- Sudan and Farmer’s Commercial Bank (FCB). The programme aims to allocate a QNB finance portfolio to expand micro-finance programmes for youth projects to support the growth and sustainability of youth owned enterprises in Sudan that contribute to job creation.

GRADUATE FUND

The aim of the programme is to provide financial services and technical support to youth graduates to help them start and develop their enterprises. The programme has created 37,878 jobs for youth since inception, and is in partnership with the Savings & Social Development Bank in Sudan.

YOUTH ENTREPRENEURS IN SUDAN

In partnership with the Agricultural Bank of Sudan (ABS), the programme aims at promoting Islamic microfinance and support youth entrepreneurs in North Kordofan and other cities across Sudan. Silatech provides financial and non-financial support to expand the youth portfolio, and through this project has created 62,690 jobs.
